We, BALMED S.r.l., with its registered office in Milan (MI), Via Dante 16, 20121 Milan (hereinafter also referred to as “we”, “BALMED” or “the Controller”) hereby provide you with information on the processing of your personal data collected directly from you (e.g. when you visit the Controller’s website). Purpose and legal basis for the processing of personal data
We collect and use personal data directly from our users or other sources (see below) in the following situations:
Provision of the website and creation of log files

Where Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR is the legal basis for processing, our legitimate interests – apart from the purposes stated above – are:

Optimizing (controlling and minimizing) costs
Proper customer service, including providing answers to questions that we receive.
Data processing period
We keep your personal information only for as long as it is required by us to provide you with the services you have requested. For instance, your personal data will be used by the Controller only for the period necessary to provide complete correspondence regarding the reported matter and provide the answer.
Data recipients
Personal data processed by BALMED may be made available to the following entities:
entities from the capital group – to a limited extent necessary for providing answers to questions or for the implementation of internal administrative purposes permitted under the GDPR,
entities processing personal data on behalf of the Controller, i.e. suppliers providing IT services, entities providing consulting and legal services.
Transfer of data outside the EEA
